This month, I want to highlight resources available for mental health! Mental Health Awareness Month is personal and important to me and mental health is the backbone of this business. You see, I was born with and live with Generalized Anxiety. I have suffered from Panic Attacks and Paranoia. When Yoga found me seven years ago, it was like a piece of calm and quiet had been gifted to my overactive mind. I will never forget my very first Restorative Yoga class because of that feeling. As a result, I decided to receive my Yoga Instructor certification and begin offering Yoga, Mindfulness, and Meditation to others.
A couple of years later, I was going through an emotional and mentally unwell time in my life, and then Reiki found me—once again providing a space for peace, healing, and clarity. Because of the healing benefits I received, I decided to become a practitioner so that I could share this gift with the world.
A couple of years after that, I stumbled upon EFT Tapping and was pleasantly surprised to have a new tool to add to my box of holistic wellness mental health resources, thus inspiring me once again to facilitate sessions.
This is my WHY for Loving Heart Holistic Wellness.
I did not know there was another option other than to live in a constant anxious state of mind until the very same Holistic Wellness services that I provide, had introduced me to a new way of mindful living. And while I will always have good days and more challenging days, the very same services I offer to others have changed my mental health and entire life completely.
